If you are prepared to listen to what the Lord has to say to you, you will never be without a word in your ear. You will never be left bereft of wisdom and knowledge, and of those things that you need in your daily pathway. If you will only take time just to cultivate your soul in the presence of God, just to silence your spirit before Him, to come before His presence continually – continually – continually. If you will seek the face of God, He will open your ear to hear the word of God, and He will never forsake you, and you will never be without guidance when you need it the most. When the day comes that you find yourself in a dilemma, God will show you a way through, and He will make plain the path before your eyes. But these things only come to those who consistently wait upon Him. It is no use waiting until the day of trouble or the day of calamity, for you must prepare your soul right now and seek the face of God. As you seek His face continually and just spent time in His presence, and as you talk to Him and allow Him to talk to you every day, you will build up a relationship with Him, and He will build up a relationship with you, and He will let you into His councils. He will not do things without telling you, but as a man speaks to his friends so the Lord will speak to those who eyes are turned towards Him. Therefore do not neglect the secret place, do not live such lives that you find no communion with God Almighty. But as you find the place where you begin to talk to Him, and continue to talk to Him, you will find that He will talk to you and will guide you unerringly, and give you the peace and the joy and the satisfaction of knowing that His will is being fulfilled in your life.

This prophecy was delivered by Alfred Missen in Manston, Kent, England. This word, consistent with the scriptures and delivered in the 80's, has had a big impact on my life. It has stirred such desire in me to seek God and know Him in an intimate way.

These words have come to my mind again and again through the years. To think that I can be so close to God I can know Him as my friend! That He would even let me into His counsels and give me advance knowledge of things He plans to do. Amazing! I have not been disappointed in my pursuit of Him. It has been my greatest joy to have an intimate relationship with Him where He shares His heart with me. I pray these words will bless you too and inspire in your heart a great passion for His presence that is spoken of in this prophecy.
