Fear may be common to us all but it is not God's will for our lives. Fear is a thief that can torment your mind and rob you of peace. My Story

From early in my childhood I wrestled with fear, usually irrational fears that had no real basis. My thoughts were dominated by anxiety, and instead of expecting God's best, I expected the worst. Fearful thoughts painted such a gloomy picture that I could see no way past the challenges I faced.

One day, when I was in my early 20's, I heard God speak to my heart. He said, “The giant of fear must be slain.” I knew He was right! Longing to be free, from that time I allowed Him to lead me step by step on a pathway that brought me into freedom. As I made His word my focus and confession He taught me how to trust Him. Fear's gloomy picture of failure has been replaced by an expectation of deliverance and blessing.

Now, when tests and trials come, instead of sinking into fear and hopelessness, I seek God. I have discovered how to shut the door on fear, and keep it out of my life. How wonderful it is to enjoy the life of peace, blessing and victory that He intended me to live!

Acting on God's word brings us into freedom. As you read and apply these truths for yourself, God will lead you out of fear and into a life of faith and victory. You, also, will enjoy His peace and discover that He can always cause you to triumph in Christ!
